10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Entry drop off: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Entry Judging: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Open to the public at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall

 

Show us your best, Stewartsville!

Bring your entries for the Best of Stewartsville “County Fair” to the First Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5.  First, second, and third places will be awarded in each of the following categories:

 

  1. Quilts

  2. Pies

  3. Decorated Cakes

  4. Garden Vegetables

  5. Breads

  6. Cookies

  7. Homemade Jams/Jellies

  8. Canned Garden Vegetables/Garden Canned Pickles

  9. Homemade Candy

  10. Homemade Salsa

  11. Homemade Sauces (BBQ, dipping sauce, spaghetti sauce, etc.)

  12. Honey

  13. Artwork/Photography

  14. Desserts

 

Blue, Red and White Ribbons will be awarded! The First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall will be open to the public from 1:00-3:00 p.m. for viewing of all entries.  Multiple entries per person will be allowed. All entries and awards must be removed from the building between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

STEWARTSVILLE FESTIVAL HISTORY:

"THE WORLD'S FAIR"

The first Stewartsville Festival was originally dubbed "The Southwest Dekalb and Northeast Clinton County Fall Festival" and was held Sep 30-Oct 2, 1954. The name was changed to "The Stewartsville Fall Festival" in 1976. Fast forward to 2017 and the name was changed to simply "The Stewartsville Festival" after moving the dates of the festival to the first weekend in August. 

 

No matter the name, the Festival has been a long standing tradition for our small town and surrounding rural communities.
